About the site
Rap and Blues is a collabo project of Thierry and Can from Hamburg, Germany. Based on a idea by Thierry, Can starts designing the concept and developing the techical realization back in Winter 2009. The blog is online since November 2009 and is assembled on wordpress software with the Thesis Theme.
General information
The Rap and Blues blog provides recent news around the range of music with a special focus on HipHop and R&B music. Additional posts to other topics will be announce time by time in the category miscellaneous.
The classics section brings a daily updated “Random Track of the Day” around the ranges of Hip-Hop and R’N'B music. Besides that, there is every sunday a “Diggin in the Crates“-post where samples can be discovered which were used in several songs and a weekly “Rap Classic-Track“, which came out every Friday.
Moreover that, we present a Top10 list of tracks we mostly listen to in the past 4 weeks, monthly updated: We call it “Flavour of the month“.
The “Diggtionary” contain a lot of information and time by time complete discographics about HipHop and R’N'B Artists and their releases. New artists are filled in occasionally, so stay tuned!
