Janet Jackson to open AMA show

Janet Jackson has been chosen as the opening act for the upcoming American Music Awards. Other performing act will be Whitney Houston, Shakira, Lil’ Wayne, Rihanna, Green Day, Mary J. Blige, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Daughtry, Lady Gaga, Eminem, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, Kelly Clarkson, Adam Lambert and The Black Eyed Peas.

But thats not the end – additional performers are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. The show will be presented on Nov. 22, 2009 at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
