They wanted to share a little bit of their perspective on the album and what made them do it, the way it has been done. Listen to every track, spiced up with a little anecdote.

„Those Was The Days“ Feat. Branesparker

After this fabulous skit we got into a nice mellow track which on that album is one of my favourite joints. I´m digging pitched soul samples so much and basically this beat is damn old. So if you think that Wu-Tang or Kanye West came up with pitched soul samples first than I really doubt it LOL!

I spiced it up with a new drum set, a new bassline and a sax-sample from Clifford Brown. I also added a lot of swing to the drums on my SP1200 so that it has that typical shuffle-flava which I really dig.

I don´t like if the drum programming sounds to straight, so do me a favor and explore the swing-button in your drum machine everybody LOL. And of course you can hear the crackles from the wax that I love to death! I hate too clean sounds. Leave a bit of crackles in the samples and you will feel the difference ya heeeeeaaard!

At least I added some cuts in the intro, chorus and outro. I found these very quickly, I guess they were on the first or second a capella that I had listened to. So the track was done very fast. To me Branesparker is one of a kind. His flow and his voice is from another world. And his production style is crazy! He is a beast on the mic and on the chops!
